Here is a letter I wish I could give to our dog...
Dear Pup,
We love you dearly, Dear Doggie, but we need you to get with the program and see that our aim is to have a peaceful, clean home, one free of little bits of cloth, cotton batting, and chewed remnants of clothes.
Underwear, socks, and shoes are for people to wear.
Nice sandals are for mom to wear, say maybe for EASTER.
Comforters are for people to keep warm while sleeping.
NEW COMFORTERS are also to make rooms look nice for Big Bro and Little Bro.
Towels are to dry off after showering or spending time at the pool.
We attend to your needs, snuggle with you, take you on nice walks and to the park.
We give you a variety of appropriate things to play with and to chew on, but somehow, you want real life things...real comforters and pillows, instead of ones for doggies.
Real sandals (my newest pair) instead of doggy toy ones.
Real underwear and real socks...the list goes on and on and on...
Maybe you are seeking real life experiences instead of silly dog toys?
We have even tried to give you some of our older real life things but somehow, you have discriminating tastes and only want the newest, nicest items, not ones we have outgrown.
I don't know, but we need to have some changes soon.
You are so cute and yet so destructive.
With love,
All of us
