Today, an article entitled 50 Must-Read Montessori Blogs was published.
This is a great list and one you should definitely check out, and I am not just saying that because they listed Sunrise Learning Lab.
Anna Miller had sent me a nice email but at first, I thought that it was spam, as I did not recognize her information. But alas, it is the real deal so here is the page:
http://www.onlinedegree.net/50-must-read-montessori-blogs/
Thought I had done a comprehensive search for every Montessori blog out there, so I was really pleased to find quite a few I'd never seen or heard of before and now, look forward to reading.
Then, I got a nice comment on my blog from Mari-Ann over at Counting Coconuts and so then, I went to check out her blog and read her post. She has listed additional great blogs that are very in tune with all things Montessori, so I checked the ones she had listed as additional ones and still found that there were a few newer ones that I did not know about, so my list has grown yet again.
There really are so many neat Mommy blogs, both ones related to Montessori and / or homeschooling, as well as ones that are not related to either, but have something quite interesting and worthwhile to read.
If you scroll through my buttons list and my blogroll, it is a big shout out to all of these lovely bloggers too.
Am working at adding more buttons to make my blogroll and list of blogs more comprehensive. If you read this and yours is not listed, please let me know.
On some blogs, I have tried to grab your buttons but could not find the html code to do that...would love to have yours as well!
Am so thankful to have happened upon blogging in the first place, as it was really by coincidence that I even found out what a blog was. My Playschool6 Yahoo group fellow member (and now, dear bloggy buddy), Jody, was looking for some things from IKEA and so, I happened to email her to tell her that I could get them and ship them to er in Canada...I put a big care package together for Jody and her family and then, when she emailed me back, she had a link to her blog that at the time was called Montessori Moment...and voila! I was introduced to the world of blogging.
Loved Jody's blog so much that I asked how she made it and then, she offered to help me and both Jody and her Mommy Moment buddy and real life friend, Lena, made the template for Sunrise Learning Lab. They both were very patient and very diligent with helping me and without them, I would have never even had a blog, much less reviews to do or giveaways to share, etc.
I am ever grateful to them for this and for them becoming my friends.
So, thanks to them because without them, I would not have even ever known about the 50 Montessori blogs, much less been on the list!
Good morning! I read through my feed reader. I have a montessori homeschooling blog...I'm just starting out, so the blog isn't very long, but it's http://barefootinsuburbia.wordpress.com
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
Congratulations!!! I've been meaning to leave you a comment but I'm not quite sure if I did already. Hi! I consider Jody my friend too (although I'm not sure if she knows, haha). She's very kind and helpful. And judging you by your writings you must be the same. I'm sure we'll be talking soon!

PS: You could tell you're from Florida by the colors of your blog
Wow! Thanks for posting this list. I'm tickled pink to find my own very small blog up there! It's also nice to find you and many others.
