Sunrise Learning Lab's Gifted Pilot Program!

Have some exciting news to share!

We here at Sunrise Learning Lab have put together an awesome pilot program for gifted learners, ages 9-13.

How it will work:

Gifted students, ages 9-13, who are selected to be a part of this pilot program will have an amazing opportunity to explore their interests and pursue their passions! 

Based upon information gathered through the intake and interview process, students will then have the opportunity to research, collaborate, and share their work. We hope to expand to other ages in the future, but for the pilot, the age range is going to be 9-13. 

Students will have to demonstrate both quantitatively and qualitatively that they are gifted and talented in one or more of the following categories to be a part of the pilot program:

Subject-Specific Aptitude:

Foreign Languages (Spanish, French, Chinese, or German)

Science / Technology / Engineering / Mathematics

Global Learning

Fine Arts

English Language Arts 

The program will start in September 2014. 

We are so excited that this is becoming a reality and cannot wait to share more details in the near future! 

In the meantime, hope that everyone has been enjoying the month of June. We had an amazing May spent up in Virginia and then, June was kicked off with Vacation Bible School and some other fun activities, including plenty of Lego building.

Boys are enjoying building Lego Mixels this summer!

Now, we are getting into the groove of summer, but before we know it, it will be fall and our pilot program will be in full swing!
