Little Bro's Math and Sensorial Extensions

Not to be outdone by Big Bro, Little Bro also wanted a math extension using a die.
So, we came up with this one...
the photo is upside down, but you get the idea...On his tray, he has:
a little bowl, with 9 single golden beads,
one golden ten bead strand,
a tray to hold up to 9 beads,
and a die
He rolls the die then counts out and places the correct number of beads.

We keep track of his rolls until he has rolled combinations of 10.

So, he gets very excited when he rolls a 6 and a 4, two 5s, or a 4 and a 6.
When he gets these, he hold up the golden 10 bead strand and says I made 10 with 6 and 4 or whatever...

He loves this!
