Big Bro and Little Bro got to spend a wonderful Easter together with Papa and G (and Mommy and Daddy, too, of course!)
Papa and G came for the weekend and stayed at our house. This was the first time in a long time that we got to spend Easter together, as usually Papa and G are making their way back up North before Easter. This year, they have stayed down South longer so it was a special treat for us to get to see them for this special weekend.
On Holy Saturday, Papa and G split their time with us.
Papa and Daddy (aka Dear Hubby) took the boys out and about while Mommy and G went shopping.
Mommy and G bought some clothes, including a new outfit for Easter Sunday.
Then, Saturday night, Papa and G treated Daddy and Mommy to a neat dinner at a Brazilian restaurant. We had never been there before, so it was a fun, new experience.
Easter Sunday started pretty early...up before sunrise...had to run to the store for a few last minute things, including some flowers for the boys to give G.
Then, we all got dressed and we started our morning out at church.
The message this morning was a powerful one about understanding the Resurrection, and making a personal connection with it.
Then, we headed back home and had brunch, opened Easter baskets, and then, headed to an Easter Egg hunt.
The ground was still a little wet for the egg hunt, so the boys and all of the other neighbor kids changed out of their Easter clothes and into play clothes.
What a fun way to end a wonderful Easter day!
Hope that all of you had a lovely time with your families during Resurrection Week and Easter Sunday!
Happy Easter Everyone!
