A Lovely Little Surprise

Tonight, I had decided to take the boys out for a ride to get some fresh air and some ice cream.
We have mostly been cooped up in our home, as Big Bro, Little Bro, and I have all been sick for the last few days, so it just seemed like a nice night for a little drive.
As we were leaving Coldstone Creamery with ice cream in hand, poor Big Bro managed to spill his all over the van floor!
So, we went back into Coldstone and they were so kind and gave him another Kids Cup just like the one they had made for him about two minutes earlier.
Had left my cell phone plugged into the charger so when we got back into the van, noticed that I had missed a call. Listened to the voice mail. Turns out that my dad had popped into town and had left something at our home for me!
Well, we pulled into our drive way a few minutes later and there, by the front door, was a gorgeous bunch of roses waiting there for me!
Is that sweet or what?
He had stopped by because he knew that we had all been sick but he did not want for us to get him or my mom sick so he very carefully had placed them outside the door.
Well, it made my night!
Not every day that my dad drives over an hour from my parents' place here in Florida to our home to bring me flowers!
How very thoughtful and cool of my dad!
Here are some photos of the roses...they look and smell awesome!
These photos do not do them justice, as they are so pretty and smell so fragrant.
Thank you to my dad for doing something special like that!
What a truly lovely little surprise!
Love you, Dad!

That is so sweet and thoughtful of your dad. It doesn't get much better than ice cream and flowers! Hope everyone is feeling better.
