Big Bro's First T-Ball Game!

Big Bro had his first t-ball game tonight!

This was supposed to be game 2, but the one over the weekend was canceled due to a very soggy field.

Tonight's game managed to happen, even though there was thunder and lightening all around...just not close enough to the field, so the kids were able to play.

Big Bro made a few nice plays...scored a run, fielded some grounders, and made it to base every time he was up to bat.

Think that he had a great time playing t-ball. He had an equally fun time in the dugout, playing rock, paper, scissors, hanging out with his teammates drinking Gatorade and eating Fruit by the Foot (just cringing to think how much sugar and artificial coloring he consumed tonight, but the whole team shared in the fun...I guess whole grain goodness does not translate well to sports teams).

Little Bro did a decent job being a fan. He and I watched from the sidelines while Big Bro played and Dear Hubby helped coach.
