Calendar Work - Leaves and Numbers Matching - We are going to be using the leaves for all sorts of counting, sorting, and learning about ordinal numbers work this month...we are also using them with our calendar. Today, Little Bro found the 5 for October 5th. Then, he had to line up and count to the fifth leaf.
Instead of doing a book about all of the months, I had Little Bro focus on what we are doing for the month of October...this is his little book. First, we discussed things that we are going to do in October. Then, he dictated back to me what he wanted to say about this month for his book. I drew simple little pictures to go with his sentences and then, he colored them, using soy rock crayons.

For his work, he had to match the wooden October piece from Big Bro's Calendar Work with the October picture card. He then placed his October book in the tray.
