What a Nice Weekend!

We are having a great weekend here in the Sunshine State!

Lots of family birthdays to celebrate (Dear Hubby's, Grandmom's, Little Bro's and mine), so we have been singing, having birthday cake, and opening presents. Mommy is quite psyched, as my early b-day presents included a new lap top, a date night, and roses!

Thanks too, to Grandmom...today, she took me out for a girls' day out...We went to brunch and then, we went to see the movie, Dear John.

The boys had a boys' day out with their daddy (Dear Hubby), as well as their Grandad. They went and played putt putt. Both boys loved playing miniature golf. Will have to post photos of them getting golf pointers from their grandfather...so cute!

We are going to wait to do the Montessori-inspired birthday walk on Little Bro's actual birthday next week, but have been celebrating pretty much all weekend.

Little Bro actually was very specific as to what he wanted for a birthday cake this year...he woke up last week and said he had seen his cake in his dreams: "Blue, my name written on it, vanilla inside, and said We love you. love, Mom and Dad."
So, Dear Hubby went to our local baker, gave them Little Bro's description and voila!
A lovely cake was created.

Little Bro and Big Bro only ate about a bite of the cake, but it was worth it to see how excited Little Bro was that it was just as he had pictured.
