Day 1: #DisneyYouth Online Resources

So You Wanna Go to a Disney Youth Educational Program with Your Gifted Students...
These online resources will help you and your group to get a good overview of the programs to see what might be the best fit for your group, whether your group is part of a gifted homeschool co-op class or a gifted class or enrichment club at a school.

Disney Youth Website
The Disney Youth website lists all of the programs, including the prices, materials, and forms that you will need per program. In addition to the Educational programs that I plan to feature this month, there are loads of other opportunities for gifted students, including various performing arts programs, so please be sure to check out the Disney Youth Programs to see what sounds like the best option for your group.

Disney Youth Programs: Awesome! Pinterest Board
If you are more of a visual learner and Pinterest appeals to you, this board lists all of the Disney Youth Programs. In addition to pins that specifically highlight each of the Disney Youth Programs, there are photos from pinners and links to various blogs that will give you additional information.

Magical Mouse Schoolhouse Website
Jodi has put together a phenomenal blog and really knows her stuff when it comes to All Things Disney!
Her blog is a treasure trove of information. She lists great ways to make Disney Parks educational for homeschool families, but much of what she shares is also applicable to traditionally schooled children as well. Jodi also wrote a book all about Disney that I hope to share more about with you as the month goes on. I have yet to get the chance to read her book and cannot wait to get to read it!
Had the opportunity to meet Jodi while at WDW last week and she is a class act who really made me feel welcome. I have been out of doing regular blog posts for a while now and had been mostly focusing on Pinterest. Jodi was able to make me feel excited about getting back into blogging on a more regular basis. She shared several great tips about photos and blogging, so hopefully, will be able to put her tips to good use this month. Jodi also shared her enthusiasm and her complete love of all things Disney.

Please be sure to check out the other 31 Days Series*** Bloggers Posts!
Each day, will provide a link to the newest post in my 31 Days Series. Hope that you will choose to follow along my series, as well as others on their personal 31 Day writing journeys.

Thanks to home blogger, Myquillyn Smith of the Nester's Place, for creating and hosting 31 Days and for Honey Rowland, dear friend and homeschooling, family life & green living blogger of Honey's Life  for sharing about 31 Days.

***Will include the Linky later today when it becomes available so that you can check out all of the other neat topics other bloggers are featuring!

Also, Penny, of Our Crazy Adventures in AutismLand , is writing about 31 Days of Disney related to homeschooling (and presumably autism), so if you homeschool and have a child on the Spectrum or a Twice Exceptional learner, her 31 Days posts will have some good information that will help you to navigate through integrating Disney's educational programs with the needs of your 2E child.
